behind ingwa; melero clothing is Nike Ingwa Clausing and Tina Hernaiz
Melero, friends from a small town in Germany. Inspired by their mothers'
handcrafting books from the '70s, they began making their own clothing
at an early age. The Ingwa Melero pair was quickly swept up in the New
York fashion scene, leading them to move to N.Y.C. permanently in 2001.
There, they founded ingwa; melero—a company known for their sexy,
stylish take on women’s clothing. ingwa; melero dresses and tops are
coveted around the world for their undeniable sex appeal and
